From photo to figurine
This is a unique opportunity to commission a portrait of yourselves on your special day.
Hand-sculpted in porcelain and fashioned directly into the clay at a height of approximately 30cm, it makes an occasion special to you. For example; your wedding day.
You can order your sculpture unglazed for the full effect of the intricate detail, or you can have it glazed for a glossy finish. (There may be some loss of detail under the glaze).
What we need from you: -
Photographs of you - full length taken on the day you wish to commemorate. Back, front and both side views.
Any photos of your faces taken around the time of your special day - back; both sides; front; semi-profiles, and from the top of the head showing front face including chin. It is not always possible to be so specific if your day was some years ago, but send what you can and we will do the rest. It may take a little longer to make with a limited amount of photographs.
NB This is a one-off piece of sculpture. It will take twelve weeks to complete.
